Scholé Christian Tradition

Soli Deo Gloria

Louisville, Kentucky

The Scholé Christian Tradition is for students in Pre-K through 12th grade. We pursue wisdom and virtue through exploration of the liberal arts and learning to love by serving, as Christ taught.

The Institution

Founded in 2022, the Scholé Christian Tradition is a Christian, private, educational partnership for homeschooling families in Kentuckiana — a teaching service with one-, two-, and three-day on-campus options. Parents teach the balance of the five days at home.

The Mission, Curriculum & Faculty

Scholé Christian Tradition’s pedagogy is a liberal arts approach emphasizing the great books of the Western canon, with the goal of the cultivation of wisdom and virtue, to the glory of the only God. It exists to foster a close-knit community of learning that strives for excellence both morally and intellectually. Teaching incorporates a balance of lecture and Socratic methodology with experienced faculty, a number of who hold advanced degrees. The entire student body follows a cohesive, rotation-based trajectory that facilitates parental involvement and promotes mastery of the material.

The most important Christian Education institution is not the pulpit or the school, important as those institutions are; but it is the Christian family.
